Introducing the X5 Wired Warehouse Doorbell Kit with low-voltage Original Bell, a heavy-duty doorbell system designed for warehouses, shops, loading docks, commercial buildings, and other demanding work environments.

This kit includes a rugged heavy-duty wired warehouse doorbell button, an X5 chime receiver, and a red low-voltage Original Bell. The heavy-duty wired doorbell button connects directly to the X5 chime using the included 50' low-voltage wire. The red low-voltage Original Bell connects to the X5 chime’s 12V DC output using the included 5' wire.

Additional low-voltage wire can be added or spliced into either connection if longer wire runs are needed. The wire run between the heavy-duty wired doorbell button and the X5 chime can be extended up to 250' total. The wire run between the low-voltage Original Bell and the X5 chime can also be extended up to 250' total. Stranded 18AWG low-voltage wire is recommended for extended runs.

Heavy-Duty Wired Doorbell Button

This kit includes the X5 Heavy-Duty Wired Button Transmitter, designed for tough warehouse and commercial environments. The button is a normally open momentary contact button that connects directly to the X5 chime using low-voltage wiring.

The kit includes 50' of low-voltage wire for connecting the heavy-duty wired doorbell button to the X5 chime. If a longer distance is needed, additional low-voltage wire can be added or spliced into this button connection. The wire run between the wired doorbell button and the X5 chime can be extended up to 250' total using stranded 18AWG low-voltage wire.

Because this is a wired button, it does not require a battery at the button location and is ideal for permanent installations where a direct wired connection is preferred.

Low-Voltage Original Bell Included

This kit includes Milton’s Bells red low-voltage Original Bell for a louder bell alert. The Original Bell connects to the X5 chime’s 12V DC output and is powered by the chime.

The kit includes 5' of wire for connecting the red low-voltage Original Bell to the X5 chime. If the Original Bell needs to be mounted farther from the chime, additional low-voltage wire can be added or spliced into this bell connection. The wire run between the low-voltage Original Bell and the X5 chime can be extended up to 250' total using stranded 18AWG low-voltage wire.

Expandable Low-Voltage Wiring

The X5 Wired Warehouse Doorbell Kit is designed to give installers flexibility when placing the wired button, chime, and Original Bell.

The included wiring provides 50' between the heavy-duty wired doorbell button and the X5 chime. This button wire run can be extended up to 250' total.

The included wiring also provides 5' between the red low-voltage Original Bell and the X5 chime. This Original Bell wire run can also be extended up to 250' total.

These are separate wire runs. The button-to-chime wire run may be up to 250', and the Original Bell-to-chime wire run may also be up to 250'. Stranded 18AWG low-voltage wire is recommended for extended wiring.

This gives installers flexibility to place the wired button at the entry point and the Original Bell where it can be heard best.

Mix Wired and Wireless Buttons

The X5 system also allows you to add wireless buttons in addition to the wired button. You can use one wired button with the X5 chime and still expand the system with up to 16 additional wireless buttons, giving you flexible coverage for multiple doors, gates, or zones.

Custom Chime Sounds

Choose from 16 different chime sounds on the X5 receiver. This allows you to customize the alert sound and, when using multiple wireless transmitters, assign different sounds to different doors or access points so you know exactly where attention is needed.

Dual 12V DC Outputs for Accessories

The X5 receiver includes two 12V DC outputs for connecting low-voltage accessories such as a strobe light, siren, or Milton’s Bells Original Bell.

In this kit, the included red low-voltage Original Bell connects to one of the X5 chime’s 12V DC outputs and is powered by the chime. The included 5' wire may be extended if needed. The wire run between the low-voltage Original Bell and the X5 chime can be extended up to 250' total using stranded 18AWG low-voltage wire.

These accessory outputs allow the system to provide both audible and visual alerts, which is especially useful in loud warehouses, shops, workshops, loading docks, and commercial environments where a standard doorbell chime may not be enough.

Low-Voltage Accessory Flexibility
