How to turn off the blue LED light on your Milton's Bells chime receiver

You can switch the blue light off on the Milton's Bells white receiver chime by changing the settings on the dip switch settings.

On the back of the chime there are seven DIP switches that control how the chime responds to a signal.

Dip switch 1 controls the blue light LED and turns it on and off. The switch can be turned on or off and then the chime and transmitter will need to be re-paired.

The re-paring is an additional step beyond just setting the dip switch. Once the dip switch is put into the right position the transmitter and receiver will need to be re-paired again.

To re-pair the transmitter and chime you hold down the “M” or mode button 3-4 seconds until the blue light flashes. Then you can push the transmitter button or compress the hose on a pneumatic transmitter to pair. To exit the pairing mode hold down the “M” button another 3-4 seconds until the blue light stops flashing and turns solid or in this case turns off.
